* Tour Option 1:
Colorado in the National Food Scene- We will explore Colorado's role in consumer-driven markets at the national level with visits to Mountain View Harvest Cooperative (bread supplier to national restaurants), Aurora Organic Dairy (co-packer for national organic milk Store Brands) and Coleman Beef
* Tour Option 2:
Colorado Going Local: This tour will visit many of the operations that have anchored the local food movement in Colorado with a uniquely Colorado twist including tours of an artisinal Cheese Company, an innovative Organic Community Supported Agriculture Operation and one of the premiere microbreweries in the region.
*Both groups will converge at for Dinner and an event at CSU Campus in Fort Collins |
